The star’s lawyers are calling for the dismissal of a lawsuit filed by two concertgoers who accused the Queen of Pop of “false advertising.”
Fans of the famous American singer Madonna accused her of lying and sued her. This was reported by People.
The conflict arose after the singer’s concert in Brooklyn, which was held on December 13. Two patrons accused the queen of pop of “false advertising” after her Celebration Tour concert started late. Specifically, the ticket indicated that the event would start at 20:30. The star himself began to perform only at 22:30.
In their statement, the plaintiffs asserted that the information about the start of the artist’s concert was “false and untrue, and also misleading.” Moreover, this is not the first time that Madonna appeared on stage later than the time indicated on the ticket. A similar situation was repeated at the next concerts in Brooklyn on December 14 and 16.
The star’s lawyers filed a motion to appeal the lawsuit. The singer’s group says that the time indicated on the ticket is information about the start of the launch of visitors to the concert venue.
“A smart concertgoer will understand that the venue door will open at the specified time or earlier. After that, one or more opening acts as the audience arrive and take their seats. After that, the main artist goes up on stage,” the artist’s team said in a statement.
It was previously reported that chef Pia Gambur spoke about working for famous singer Madonna and gave fans an idea of the pop star’s eating habits.
