Toyota is preparing a compact coupe-crossover Urban Cruiser Taisor. The presentation of the model will take place in April. In the meantime, a video with the new model has been published on the YouTube channel of the Japanese manufacturer.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor will be based on the Suzuki Fronx. The crossover coupes are almost identical on the outside, with a sloping roofline, high hood and bulging, flared fenders. The Toyota model features a front end design with optics in the spirit of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, as well as other 17-inch wheels.
The interior of the car was not shown, but it is known that it does not differ from the interior of the Suzuki Fronx. This means that the crossover will receive a 9-inch touchscreen and projection onto the windshield. Options include all-round cameras and wireless charging for smartphones.
The four-meter Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor crossover will be offered with 1.2 liter (90 hp) and 1.0 liter turbo (100 hp) petrol engines.
