A Secret Service agent received six stitches after being bitten by a dog. The dog was subsequently kicked out of the White House in October.
Joe Biden’s dog Commander has been linked to at least 24 bite incidents in a 12-month period. This was reported by The Telegraph.
Therefore, the two-year-old German shepherd was evicted from the presidential residence in October last year.
It is known that one of the incidents happened at the presidential beach house in Rehoboth Beach in Delaware. The president’s four-legged friend bit a Secret Service agent while walking in his backyard.
The bite caused a severe open wound and the man lost a large amount of blood and required six stitches. More than a dozen other incidents also required medical attention.
It is known that the Commander came to the White House as a puppy in 2021. It was given to him by Biden’s younger brother James. This is the second presidential family dog to be removed from their home, following Major, another German shepherd the Bidens adopted from an animal shelter in 2018. The dog was eventually sent to live with friends in Delaware.
The Bidens’ other German shepherd, Champ, is more docile. The student died in 2021 at the age of 13.
Earlier it was reported that the dog Commander, which belongs to the family of US President Joe Biden, bit an on-duty Secret Service employee.
