The Prince and Princess of Wales decided to “protect” their three heirs from “fun.”
On Monday, January 29, Kate Middleton was discharged from the hospital after stomach surgery. The Princess of Wales spent 13 days in a private royal hospital in London, and, as it happened, during this time her children did not visit her. ET reports.
Sources close to the royal family explained that the royal couple did not want to disrupt the normal daily routine of ten-year-old Prince George, eight-year-old Princess Charlotte and five-year-old Louis.
The source also added that Prince William, 41, and Princess Kate, 42, want peace of mind and a normal life for their children. In addition, as the source says, in order not to cause concern to their heirs, the royal couple made some efforts.
The children did not see their mother in person, but contacted her via FaceTime.
It was previously reported that the Princess of Wales has returned home from hospital after stomach surgery.
