The robot is approximately 166 centimeters tall, weighs 60 kilograms and is capable of carrying a payload of 20 kg at a moving speed of 1.2 m/s.
The BMW car manufacturing company uses humanoid robots. TechCrunch reported this.
The models called Figure will be manufactured at a plant in South Carolina, USA.
The robot is designed to perform five tasks; the loading will gradually increase.
Figure CEO Brett Adcock said other companies besides BMW will be testing the robot, but declined to reveal their names.
He also said that the company aims to release the first commercial robot within a year.
Recall that Tesla introduced the second generation humanoid robot Optimus Gen 2, which should perform some tasks that are usually performed by humans.
