On BBB 24, Leidy Elin reprimanded Lucas after his brother used a racist term to refer to her
Leidy Elin scolded Lucas Luigi for the use of a racist expression in the BBB 24.
The participant called her brother for a sincere conversation and pointed out that she disapproved of the fact that he called her a “monkey”.
The sister made a point of reinforcing that she didn’t like the type of expression he used to refer to her.
“You take it today and do this to me. Me, black, sitting next to Luigi, who seems to be a very knowledgeable guy, take it and say that? It’s very annoying! Be careful about the things you say in here. Really be sure to watch yourself , because we don’t know what it’s like out there”, she said.
Luigi apologized and acknowledged that he should not have used the prejudiced expression.
“I was used to it, really, among kids, that’s it. It was automatic, that’s why I apologized. I wasn’t supposed to say it”, he said.
Leidy reinforced that Luigi should not repeat the act and advised him to monitor the terms he uses.
“It’s a very strong word, often used abroad to verbally attack us, people who are black. They always want to belittle us. So you pay a lot of attention, not just to me”, Leidy said.
