The actress recalled that she went to the doctors after noticing drastic changes in her body. According to her, last fall she gained 11 kilograms and continued to experience “terrible pain” in her left mammary gland. At first she thought it was a symptom of menopause, but after performing a breast self-examination, she felt a small lump inside.
“Really worried and in pain. I immediately went to my doctor and he sent me for an urgent examination. But the problem is that I can’t make an appointment. Everything is booked. So I have to wait until the end of November, to do it,” the star said.
Some time later, Nicole Eggert had a mammogram and three biopsies, and the pathology results came back positive for cancer. As the star noted, this greatly affected his emotional state, but he firmly believed in the best.
Now, cancer patient Eggert is awaiting surgery to remove the tumor and chemotherapy.
