The Italian photographer spent six years of his life creating an amazing picture that became a work of art.
Italian photographer Valerio Minato has announced the completion of his biggest project of his career, which lasted six years.
It is noted that he devoted this period of his life to the creation of an unprecedented photographic work, which the artist called “a unique spectacle.”
He was able to photograph the Catholic Basilica of Supergu and Mount Monviso, located behind the rising Moon.
Minato himself commented on his work as follows: “December 15, 2023, 18:52. Superga and Monviso had an unforgettable date with the Moon… In a very small area of the sky, in just a few seconds , the Stone King, Superga’s Basilica and the crescent moon, offer a unique spectacle . The so-called Ash Moon is also clearly visible: during the first and last phase of the lunar cycle, the Sun’s light is reflected from the Earth back to the Moon, illuminating the part of its surface that is in shadow,” he wrote on Instagram .
