The hit song about love and longing for Christmas was first released in 1994 and has been a beloved holiday hit ever since.
Mariah Carey’s twin daughters Monroe and Moroccan say they are tired of listening to their mother’s iconic Christmas song “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” The corresponding video appeared on the star’s Instagram.
Specifically, it shows the singer sitting in a red jumpsuit near a decorated Christmas tree with her children. At some point, they started begging their mother not to sing her track from her first holiday album, Happy Holidays.
When they complained that they had to hear her song “every time” they were near the tree, Carey replied that she was “just celebrating.”
Notably, American singer Mariah Carey set a new record with 1994’s All I Want for Christmas Is You, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the 14th time. This December, it remains at the top of the chart for the second week in a row.
