The filmmaker died on Monday, December 11, after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
On Monday, December 11, American actor Camden Toy, who starred in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, died at the age of 68. Deadline reported.
The cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
The actor’s girlfriend, Bea Henderson, said on social media that doctors diagnosed him with cancer in February last year and that Toy’s condition had seriously deteriorated over the past two months.
“He was diagnosed in February last year after months of illness, which he hid. For many reasons, we are very hopeful for at least a longer and more fruitful time on planet Earth. Unfortunately “Unfortunately, his condition has deteriorated significantly over the past two months and especially in the last few days,” he wrote.
It is worth noting that Camden Toy was born on May 31, 1955 in Pennsylvania. His interest in the film industry was encouraged by his father, who worked as an actor and makeup artist. Later, Toy began working in theater in New York. In the 1990s, he began acting in films and moved to Los Angeles.
He is best remembered for his roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Vampire’s Kiss and Bare Fists.
It was previously reported that Tonya Matvienko spoke for the first time about the illness of her mother, Nina Mitrofanovna, who died in October of this year.
