In 2023, funding for the Quiet Evening with Elena Kravets program will be UAH 27.5 million instead of UAH 32.8 million planned at the beginning of the year.
Actress and presenter Elena Kravets commented on the scandal surrounding the financing of the Quiet Evening program aired on the Dom TV channel. He wrote this on Instagram.
In particular, it recently became known that more than 27 million UAH was allocated from the state budget of Ukraine for the production of this show, and not 32.8 million UAH, as originally planned. This is due to the reduction in the number of episodes.
So the showwoman stressed that the program will not be broadcast in 2024. However, she said that she will not be responsible for the distribution of funds and financing of any of the channel’s projects.
“The funds in question have been allocated to the channel for filming the program in 2023. The program will not be released in 2024. Due to the fact that the channel reported on the Prozorro website about the reduced final estimate, a new display of information has taken place and is a reason to manipulate this news. I am only the face and host of the program. I work for a salary for which I pay taxes and I am not responsible for the distribution of funds and financing of any projects of the channel… During this year, our guests are military personnel, volunteers, cultural figures, politicians, heroes of this war – all who are now guarding the life of the country and each other to us. Listening to them, telling their stories is an honor for me, and sometimes they voluntarily come to a Silent Night and share their inner strength and warmth… Please think and review the information. I have nothing to hide, so I am not afraid of this downpour and will continue to live my life and do what I believe in and what people need,” Kravets wrote.
Earlier it was reported that Elena Kravets told how the first lady of our country, Elena Zelenskaya, changed during the war.
