The artist emphasized that he does not know about any real threats to his safety, but he intends to find out everything.

The Ukrainian singer of Crimean Tatar origin Jamala responded for the first time to her arrest in absentia in Russia. He wrote it on Instagram.

The star admitted that he did not understand why he was chosen among all Ukrainian artists.

“All of us Ukrainians write posts, travel, collect, communicate and do everything possible. Why me? Maybe they are shocked by the influence, geography of countries and platforms that I can use thanks to my music,” the star shared his opinions.

Jamala also said that she learned the news when she was completely immersed in work. Therefore, the singer does not know all the details about the real threats to his safety.

“In the morning I was on the set of a television project dedicated to Christmas, where I prepared a special song, chose, worked on the arrangement, was completely immersed in the creative process… And in the evening found out I have such news.. I don’t know all the details about the real threat to my security, I will… But let this be a reminder of these specific events and proof of Russia’s arbitrariness and ignorance in in front of the whole world,” he wrote.

Earlier it was reported that Jamala for the first time commented on the news that he was placed on the wanted list in Russia.
