A transgender woman is not allowed to enter the locker room until all cisgender guests have left.
One of the stores of the world famous lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret is in the middle of a strong scandal because of an incident with a transgender woman. Newsweek reported it.
The boutique employees did not allow her to enter the locker room until all the cisgender women had left.
A transgender woman who goes by the handle @Microdragons1 spoke out about the X incident, previously on Twitter, writing: “I had a completely inhumane, inhumane experience in the locker room at a Victoria’s Secret store because of my status as a transgender woman.. .I was trying to find a nice bra at Victoria’s Secret and they made me wait for all the cisgender women to leave the locker room before I could get into just one. don’t be the same woman in any of the others 5 locker rooms near me.”
Victoria’s Secret representatives immediately apologized to the client and provided the necessary contact information to contact her.
Journalists of the publication tried to contact the transgender woman to find out the details of the scandal and details of its possible settlement. However, Microdragons1’s account became unavailable at that time. However, the publication received a response from the Victoria Secret press service.
“We are committed to providing an excellent experience for our customers, so we always welcome feedback. Our employees are committed to providing exceptional customer service, especially during the busy shopping season,” said them.
Following the incident, some social media users sided with the store’s workers and believe the company should not apologize to the transgender woman, as some commenters wrote that the transgender woman might be a “male pervert.” Others supported the transgender woman and condemned the store workers for harassment and bullying.
It was previously reported that Puerto Rican model Sofia Jirau has become the first Victoria’s Secret brand girl with Down syndrome.
