Orthodox activists from Novosibirsk are demanding that Uruguayan actress and singer Natalia Oreiro be stripped of her Russian citizenship. They directed this request to the Office of the Prosecutor General and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Russian media reported it.

According to one of the authors of the appeal, Ivan Kvasnitsky, who said that he spent about six hours studying the content of the artist, noted that Oreiro has repeatedly expressed support for the community of LGBT.
The man also added that he does not consider stripping the singer of Russian citizenship as a drastic step, since he still does not live in the country of the aggressor.
At the same time, the activists noted that if they fail to remove Oreiro’s citizenship, they will force him to take administrative responsibility under the article Propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations (the maximum penalty under this article is a fine of 200 thousand rubles ).
