The star passed away in the early hours of this Monday, 30th, and the information was confirmed by Rene Juniorvice-president of Grupo Pela Vidda.
At 61 years old, the artist was rescued after the serious health case and taken to the Emergency Care Unit in Tijuca, North Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
Lorna was known as the Fernanda Montenegro from the drag universe. The artist has been at the forefront of shows since 1980 and performed in LGBTQIAPN+ nightclubs.
The drag queen had already been dealing with some health issues. Lorna was recovering from a cardiac arrest suffered last year, which caused partial hearing loss. Furthermore, at the age of 50, the star was diagnosed with osteomyelitis caused by diabetes, meaning she needed to use a walker for years and then a wheelchair.
