Ukrainian actress Irma Vitovskaya commented on the position of the eldest daughter of Olga Sumskaya, Antonina Papernaya, who lives in the Russian Federation. He reported this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
In particular, the artist did not criticize the daughter of his colleague. However, he noted that Papernaya has been living in the country of the aggressor for many years, adding that he has developed as a person, has a job and a family.
At the same time, Vitovskaya suggested that it is very difficult for Sumskaya to cope with the current situation.
Irma also added that she did not hear Ukrainian-phobic statements like other Russian artists who want to “be liked and be closer to the authorities” from Antonina Papernaya.
“I do not see that a person is a participant in some kind of Ukrainophobic programs where everyone is encouraged. I admit that most of all these Ukrainophobic statements by Russian actors are an opportunistic desire to be floated, like, to be closer to power. Most of those actually profess this Ukrainophobia, and there are those who serve the regime in this way. It’s always been like this. That’s why I won’t comment on it, so as not to offend Olga Vyacheslavovna even more. I don’t know her daughter and I don’t know the family too closely. But this the situation has not started now,” the actress noted.
