Gigi Hadid supports the Palestinians

Palestinian-Dutch model Gigi Hadid responds to Hamas attacks on Israel. He condemned the terror of relatively innocent people, but at the same time he said that he felt “deep compassion and sadness” for his people who were living “under work,” the Daily Mail wrote.

“I feel deep sympathy and sadness for the Palestinian struggle. While I have hopes and dreams for the Palestinians, none of them include the harm done to a Jew,” the model said.

Hadid added that this is an unjustifiable tragedy and that “every day this conflict claims innocent lives, so many of them children.”

“I feel great sympathy and sadness for the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation, it is a responsibility that I carry every day. I also feel a responsibility to my Jewish friends to clarify this, as I said then: even though I had hopes and dreams for the Palestinians, none of them included the harm done to the Jew,” said Gigi.

He also noted that these events are fueling a painful cycle of “back-and-forth revenge that has lasted for decades (in which no innocent civilian, Palestinian or Israeli, deserves to be victimized).”

“There are many complex, personal and valid feelings, but every person deserves basic rights and security; regardless of their nationality, religion, ethnicity or place of birth,” said the model.
