The Wonder Woman star served in the Israel Defense Forces for two years as a combat instructor.
Actress Gal Gadot, who urged the world not to “sit idly” over the war in Israel and Palestine, could be drafted into the army. The Daily Mail reported this.
In particular, the Wonder Woman actress served in the Israel Defense Forces as a combat instructor more than a decade ago, leading some to wonder if she might be called up to fight in the war against Hamas.
It is noted that two years of military service is mandatory for Israelis, and the screen star himself previously reported that the service helped him learn discipline and teamwork skills, which he now applies at work of the film.
All Israeli citizens are subject to military conscription as the country approaches what experts call the worst conflict between Israel and Palestine in decades.
Some 300,000 Israeli reservists have been called up to join the IDF forces.
It is not yet known if the star has been called up as a reservist.
Earlier, it was reported that Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari said that the Israeli army lost at least 123 soldiers.
