The presenter also spoke about the challenges after surgery but stated that it was the best decision of her life
Jojo Todynho has shared her post-bariatric process on her social media and, despite facing some challenges, the presenter stated that it was the best decision of her life.
The singer also celebrated the independence of doing the little everyday things, like putting on sandals and getting dressed alone: “Best choice I made in my life.”
Jojo underwent the procedure in August and little by little she has noticed differences in her body: “Today I weighed in, I weighed 145 kg and today I weigh 135 kg. I did the bioimpedance test. I lost a little mass because I’m not working out. 10 kg are gone, and that’s it, come on.”
Despite not being able to do physical activities yet, the presenter is focused on good nutrition and is eager to get back to training: “Children’s Day week has passed, I’m back to my training, I’m back to my in-person college routine, because I’m doing it online, and everything is fine.”
“You see little things like that, you put on sandals, you dress yourself, that’s gratifying! For people it might even be something superfluous, but not for me. For me, it’s a very good evolution”, he said.
However, Jojo opened up about the challenges he has faced: “The bad thing about bariatrics is that you choke on everything.”
Last Thursday, the 5th, Jojo spoke about an episode of choking while leaving his hotel room in Mexico: “I thought I was going to die, it made me desperate. I was just crying. I’m here in panic, it’s really bad.”
“I still have to learn how to deal with it, I don’t know yet. With the choking. It’s horrible. You choke on saliva, on everything”, he spoke.
