In recent years, the artist has suffered from many health problems. In 2003, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He also had metal plates inserted into his neck after he fell in 2019.
English rock musician Ozzy Osbourne said he went under the surgeon’s knife for the last time to repair a spinal injury he suffered in the fall of 2019. The BBC reported this.
“I can’t believe I made it to the end. It’s been five years of absolute hell for me and my family,” he said.
The star’s fall is said to have aggravated an injury sustained in an ATV accident in 2003, which affected his ability to walk. However, he said that he refused any further surgical interventions.
“This will be the last surgery because I can’t do them anymore. Regardless of how it ends, the day after tomorrow and all the days after. I won’t do it anymore. I can’t do it anymore,” he said in an episode of The podcast Osbournes Podcast, recorded last Saturday, September 16th, the day before the procedure.
Additionally, Ozzy Osbourne added that while his health has “improved a little bit,” he still has mobility issues.
“I feel like there’s a brick tied to my feet. I went up and down today for the first time in a long time, and my feet feel like they’re wearing diving boots. I think it’s a nervous thing. It’s nervous when My back hurts, everything is broken,” the musician said.
She also mentioned that she wants to go out, but is worried about the paparazzi waiting for her everywhere and trying to take a picture where she looks unhealthy.
“When people take pictures of me, my mouth is half open or I’m bent over, and I’m like, ‘Ozzy’s on his last legs. But I’m far from on my last legs,” the rocker concluded.
It was previously reported that Ozzy Osbourne, who has Parkinson’s disease, surprised fans with his appearance.
