He is suing for sexual and racial allegations and is also seeking damages including unpaid wages.
Designer Asra Daniels filed a lawsuit against singer Lizzo and members of her team. Rolling Stone reported it.
In particular, the woman said that she was hired to work on the costumes of the star and her dancers on the last tour. He said the work was exhausting, sometimes lasting from six in the morning until two in the morning, and he never got a break.
Also, because Daniels is a black woman, she says she had to endure racist comments from Lizzo’s wardrobe manager, Amanda Nomuri. He called his black tourmates “dumb,” “useless,” and “fat.”
The designer says that Lizzo and his partner are well aware of the employee’s behavior.
In addition, Daniels complained that she was forced to endure inappropriate behavior from the artist’s management, referring to a group chat in which images of male genitalia appeared. And this made him uneasy.
A former employee of the Lizzo singer said her tour experience left her with persistent anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder, in addition to fatigue and migraines.
It was previously reported that American singer Lizzo was sued by three of her former dancers.
