Petty’s home confinement program includes electronic monitoring, GPS and alcohol monitoring.
Rapper Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty has been placed under house arrest after he threatened rapper Offset, who is the husband of another famous singer Cardi B. Page Six reports.
A California court ordered him to serve up to 120 days of house arrest. According to court documents, Petty, 45, was videotaped “expressing threats against a specific individual while in the company of a person with a criminal history.”
The publication reported that a few days ago, on September 16, Kenneth shared a video online with his friends in which he can be heard talking to the rapper: “Plan your vacation, you will plan your funeral.”
The former inmate’s violation “raises concerns” about his “willingness to comply with the court order,” according to the documents, noting that the restrictions were put in place to “encourage him to reflect and reconsider his current status in the community.”
Kenneth was previously sentenced to probation for failure to register as a sex offender. Previously, the man spent four years in prison for the attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl.
