An actress accused of fraud has mysteriously died after falling from a fifth-floor balcony.

It is known that the 49-year-old star was found under the windows of his apartment in Rio de Janeiro and taken to the hospital, but he died from his injuries.
The authorities are currently investigating the cause of Sabina’s death and do not rule out suicide, as a suicide note was found in her apartment addressed to her husband Rosa Stanesco Nicolaou, who is now behind bars for his alleged role in the fraud.
It is worth noting that the actress is the daughter of one of Brazil’s greatest art collectors, the late Jean Boghici. He was born in Romania in 1928 and moved to Brazil in 1948 with Jewish friends.
Sabina and her husband were arrested in August last year and accused of defrauding their mother Genevieve of £120 million in cash, art and jewellery.
Investigators said Sabina plotted against her mother in 2020 and allegedly paid the woman to pose as a psychic. Then a woman approaches Genevieve right on the street and predicts her daughter’s impending death.
According to investigators, the “medium” brought her to two other women who identified themselves as a fortune teller and a priestess, who offered to pay for “spiritual work” to save her daughter.
The plan seemed to work as the woman began transferring money to the scammers every two weeks, fearing for Sabina’s life. In turn, the daughter, along with an accomplice, began to remove works of art from her mother’s house, claiming that they were cursed.
Over time, my mother realized that she was being deceived, and stopped transferring money and decided to contact the police.
The police accused Sabina Baghichi of stealing 16 valuable paintings. The fraud also included more than $1 million in jewelry and $2.7 million in payments.
In March 2023, Sabina was released on bail. Under the terms of his release, he was not allowed to travel outside Rio de Janeiro for more than ten days and had to surrender his passport.
