The celebrity couple has been together for 18 years. They have three children together. Kristin filed for divorce in early May 2023.
Hollywood actor Kevin Costner and his ex-wife, handbag designer Christine Baumgartner, have settled their financial disputes in court. TMZ reported it.
In particular, the legal team of the 68-year-old star, led by lawyer Laura Wasser, won several legal battles, particularly on the issue of alimony.
She filed court documents saying Kevin’s monthly child support should be $63,000 a month, while Christine is asking for $248,000. After a two-day evidentiary hearing in Santa Barbara in early September, Judge Thomas Anderle sided with the actor.
The judge also made it clear that the prenuptial agreement would be enforced, and if Kristin appealed it, she would have to pay Kevin Costner more than $1 million and pay his attorney’s fees.
In this regard, Baumgartner agreed to the terms for resolving the conflict.
However, the exact details of the settlement are not known, but the sources of the publication say that Christine received more than what was stipulated in the prenuptial agreement to end the dispute.
It was previously reported that Kevin Costner’s wife Christine is asking for $248,000 a month to support their three children.
