The princess named Lady Camembert, star of the book The Princess and the Hot Cheeseis far from wanting a marriage, even more so with a man.
The HQ of the author from Rio de Janeiro Deya Muniz will take place on the 2nd of September, at the Bienal do Livro in Rio de Janeiro, and tells a story inspired by his personal life, when he met his wife in the United States.
In the story, the princess is the only daughter of a very rich man who is committed to arranging a marriage for his daughter. When her father falls ill, she realizes she’ll need a quick plan to not lose the family fortune: pretend to be a boy. Reclusive like Count Camembert, she will stay away from everyone but Feta, a great friend and confidant.
Tired of her peaceful and excluded life, she decides to go to Princess Brie’s ball and then her heart speaks stronger: she falls in love with the owner of the party.
An approximation takes place. Grilled cheese sandwiches, love, friendship and real exchanges happen between Camembert and Brie. Until it gets too hard to hide who you really are.
In the plot, the author proposes an important discussion about feminism, the rights of LGBTQIAP+ people and animal protection.
