Audrey Hepburn’s pink dress from Breakfast at Tiffany’s in 1961 will be auctioned by Julien’s Auctions and Turner Classic Movies. Prestige Online writes about it.
In total, more than 1,400 Hollywood fashion memorabilia will be sold. For example, props from Star Wars, Alien, Iron Man and other movies.
As for the royal family, the auction will feature some of Princess Diana’s evening gowns.
But the main star of the auction was the dress worn by Hepburn, because it aroused public interest.
Hubert de Givenchy designed this outfit for his muse in silk satin and organza. It is decorated with sequins, beads and gold appliqués with tassels.
It is expected to fetch between $100,000 and $400,000.
