The American company Alef Aeronautics introduced an unusual flying vehicle called Model A. Autoevolution writes about it.
The vehicle is legally allowed to fly in US airspace.
According to Alef Aeronautics CEO Jim Duchovny, this is one small step for aircraft and one giant step for cars.
It is known that Duchovny came from a family of Kyiv Jews. He then founded Alef Aeronautics to create one of the first mass-produced zero-emission flying cars.
So, a parachute is installed on the Alef Model A. It is activated in emergency situations. On the road, the car can travel about 322 km without recharging and fly 177 km in the air.
The maximum speed is 40 km/h.
The Alef Model A starts at $299,999.
