The artist noted that the rights of all people must be protected, because this is the path to the full understanding of freedom.
Singer Olya Polyakova took part in Pride in London 2023 in defense of the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. He shared the footage from the West on Instagram.
In particular, the artist led the column of Ukrainian pride, the main message of which is Give us wings to protect our rainbow (Give us wings to protect our rainbow).
The slogan is a reference to the words of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “Give us wings to defend freedom”, which he said in the British Parliament in February 2023.
Polyakova appeared in the march dressed in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, and on the artist’s chest was the coat of arms of Ukraine. The image of the star is completed by a luxurious crown on his head, as well as a golden cloak.
On social networks, the singer also noted that our country is fighting every day against the Russian invaders for the freedom and value of every Ukrainian.
“War does not choose what gender, sexual orientation or eye color you have. The LGBTQ+ military, whose rights are not yet regulated by law in terms of legalizing relationships, caring for a partner, their common property, children, are also winning first. “We have to build the nation of the future. A country full of love, freedom, choice and dignity. We don’t have to bump into each other and we shouldn’t let others bump into us. We know the real enemy and we must fight him together,” he wrote.
