Vehicle conditions vary. Some of them are perfectly preserved and only need washing, others need restoration.
In the USA, a collection of rare retro cars from the 60s was accidentally discovered. It was about two dozen vintage sports cars, abandoned in an old warehouse. The video was published on the Auto Archeology YouTube channel.
Among the vehicles found are production versions of sports cars that took part in the American NASCAR championship.
The most important of these are the Dodge Charger Daytona and the Plymouth Road Runner Superbird.
It was noted that these were the first mass-produced cars in the world with anti-wings, the improved aerodynamics of which made it possible to accelerate on NASCAR oval tracks up to 320-330 km/h.
Sports cars are equipped with powerful V8s with a volume of 7.0 liters (425 hp) and 7.2 liters (375-390 hp).
In total, only 503 Dodge Charger Daytonas and 1935 Plymouth Superbirds were produced in the world. Therefore, today their price at auctions exceeds one million dollars.
The collection also includes a Ford Torino Talladega and a Mercury Cyclone Spoiler. They also improved aerodynamics. The cars are equipped with a 7.0-liter 335-horsepower V8. 754 Ford Torino Talladega and 1631 Mercury Cyclone Spoilers were produced.
Recall that electric cars for the city were presented in Italy.
