The speech in question was from the participant Bianca Sessawho has a congenital malformation in his left hand.
In the video, Marcelo briefly talks about the dynamics of reality and asked the audience which hand the wedding ring is on, and the audience replied that it is the left hand.
“It’s called Blind Marriage. When you get married, where do you put the ring, on which hand?”, he said.
“Left, in the left hand. What is the name of the program I just talked about? ‘Blind Marriage.’ The woman who is participating has no left hand. She will be an eternal bride”, completed the comedian.
In the comments of the video, many internet users criticized Marcelo’s speech, Bianca even left her outburst in the publication.
“Wow Marcelo, how funny you are. A joke ceases to be funny when it offends or hurts someone. Yes, I don’t have a left hand, but at least I have character and respect for others, something you apparently lack”, wrote Bianca.
