The artist will take part in the event to once again remind the whole world about the total war in Ukraine.
Singer Olya Polyakova will lead the Ukrainian LGBTQ+ Pride column in London. He announced this on his Instagram page.
In particular, the artist will once again be able to remind the international community about the war in Ukraine, as well as the need to fight for equal rights.
“The fight for the freedom and value of every Ukrainian is what our country is fighting every day in a battle against racist evil. The war does not choose what gender, sexual orientation or eye color you have. LGBTIQ people have won too + military on the front lines, whose rights are not yet regulated by law in the matter of legalizing relationships, taking care of a partner, their common property, children … Protecting those who are not legally protected from attacks and harassment, from hate crimes is the path of a civilized country that we have yet to pass,” she said.
At the same time, Polyakova noted that Ukraine is significantly different from Russia, because the ideology of the aggressor country is misanthropic.
“Ukraine is already part of the progressive world, no matter how quickly we win this war. Therefore, now we must clearly emphasize that we, Ukrainians, are united, not divided. What unites us is the desire for freedom, security and equality for all our citizens. We are here to protect the world of freedom and love from the darkness of dictatorship, brute force and lies!” – summed up the performer.
Earlier it was reported that Olya Polyakova mentioned that she will no longer make hits in Russian.
