Filipe Catto will bring a true spectacle in a concert by the Rolling Stone Sessions at Blue Note São Paulo.
The singer will perform in honor of gal likeswho passed away on November 9, 2022.
Beauties are things lit from within: Catto sings Gal will take place next Wednesday, the 28th, and will feature the voice of Filipe and the band formed by Michele Abu (battery), Fabio Pinczowski (guitar) and Gabriel Bubu Mayall (low).
“Gal is the fundamental matrix of Brazilian singers. She gave us everything: rock, samba, bossa nova, rebelliousness, elegance”, said Filipe Catto.
Philip continued: “We met a few times and she was always a sweetheart. When I was asked to do this tribute I was so grateful to be able to embody these powerful songs and send all my love to Gal for everything she has done for us”.
The singer told how she thought about the repertoire for the presentation: “We wanted to bring these contemporary gems that were a beacon for my generation. Gal was a great enthusiast of our crew and left beautiful recordings in recent years. We wanted to celebrate that side of her, the visionary and eternally modern singer that she was and always it will be.”.
