Mitchell Callaway was arrested in Australia after being accused of killing a nine-month-old baby.
The singer was arrested by the police on Thursday, the 8th, but the crime happened in 2018.
According to newspaper information The Mirrorthe singer was arrested at the house where he resides, located in Bowraville.
The investigation has been taking place since July 2018. In it, evidence of a murder is pointed out.
At the time of the incident, the emergency service received a request to assist an unconscious baby, who ended up not resisting. At the end of May, authorities received more accurate information about the baby’s death, which indicated that he could have been murdered, so Mitchell was arrested.
The bail request was refused and the singer will give a new statement. Police say they still don’t know the motive for the crime.
