Last Monday, the 22nd, Jeff Machado was found dead in Rio de Janeiro, the actor had been missing since January 27th and became known for his participation in Reis, a Record TV soap opera.
The plot was broadcast on the network in March 2022 and Jeff lived a Philistine soldier. The actor studied journalism and cinema and, on his social networks, he shared his day to day, behind the scenes at work and the routine with his animals, which he was passionate about, according to the family.
Authorities found Jeff’s body in Campo Grande, Rio de Janeiro, the remains were found burned and tied in a trunk, which was concreted and found two meters deep in a land.
The family’s lawyer, Jairo Magalhães, confirmed the information: “The body was found on Monday in a house in Campo Grande.”
“It’s been confirmed since yesterday [23], at the end of the day, by the expertise of the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro, which is his body. The family has already been notified by me now.”, he completed. The lawyer stated that the actor’s family, born in Santa Catarina, is on its way to Rio de Janeiro.
The family noticed Jeff’s disappearance because of the actor’s eight dogs that were abandoned and found by an NGO, two dogs were dead and one is missing.
According to them, Jeff Machado did not answer calls, saying that he had a problem with his cell phone and soon after, he stopped answering messages. The texts, by the way, also caused strangeness in the family due to the mistakes in Portuguese, a fact that was not usual for Jeff.
“Information received by the family states that he would have received a job proposal for São Paulo. Relatives went to Jeff’s house here in Guaratiba, here in Rio, and found all his documents and cards”, stated the Balanço Geral, from Record TV, at the time of the disappearance.
