At the age of 39, a musicologist and director of a TV channel died in battles with Russian invaders Malyatko TV Ivan Kuzminsky. The press service of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting reported this on Facebook.
“On May 17, in the Luhansk region, near the village of Dibrov, the life of a 39-year-old musician, director of a children’s TV channel, was cut off in a battle with the Russian invaders. Malyatko TV Ivan Kuzminsky,” the statement said.
It should be noted that Ivan Kuzminsky was born in Berdichev. From childhood, he was fond of music, so he graduated from a music school, and later entered the Zhytomyr State Musical College. Kosenko for a specialty Choir conductor.
He received his higher education at the Kyiv Conservatory (now the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after PI Tchaikovsky).
Ivan Kuzminsky defended his Ph.D. thesis, taught and studied at the doctoral level. He studied ancient Ukrainian music, the author of scientific articles on this topic. In addition, he worked as a director on a children’s TV channel Malyatko TV.
Since the beginning of the general invasion, he volunteered to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
