Ukrainian craftsmen recreated the vyshyvanka of the Ukrainian political figure, leader of the national liberation movement Stepan Bandera for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. This is stated in the Facebook project Embroidery on the clothes of the remaining Ukrainians.
The Bandera Military Style embroidered shirt was created according to the designs of Victoria Krivonos. It was sewn in the Lviv atelier ZETA atelier. It was made by master Olga Lelik.
“A year ago, our project made Stepan Bandera’s shirt. Together with the World Vyshyvanka Day, we carried out more than one action Vyshyvanka – the spiritual weapon of Ukrainians – this shirt helped us buy body armor for soldiers, an ambulance for hospitals, a bunch of necessary equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But the war continues. Therefore, a shirt was created for the defender Bandera Military Style. We are proud that the first shirt from this collection now belongs to our Chief Defender! – said the message.
