In particular, when the organizers of the competition announced it, the winner of the Black Sea Games 2021 appeared in the audience, but instead of singing, he said that he did not want to share the stage with representatives of terrorist countries.
“I decided that I cannot sing today. I found out about a participant from Russia. A country that has already killed more than 500 Ukrainian children. Therefore, I cannot sing on the same stage with a representative of a terrorist country . Thank you all for your understanding, I believe that there will be no representative of this country next year. Please support Ukraine,” he said.
The organizers of the competition announced the Russian participation a few hours before the start. The Russian Federation is represented in the competition by Kirill Yezhov.
Earlier it was reported that Miss Ukraine Universe Victoria Apanasenko won the national costumes competition in the beauty contest Miss Universe 2022.
