“I was screaming in the car with my husband after receiving the diagnosis”, recalled Renata.

Renata also commented on how she started to feel the symptoms of the disease: “In the most tense moments, which are very common in our life in journalism, I would feel my leg shaking under the bench. And I was like: imagine, 45 years old, dumb old, I started to get nervous!”.

At the end of the program, Renata presented Ana with a metal plaque with the famous phrase guimaraes rosa: “What life wants from us is courage”.
“It’s simple, but full of meaning for both of us”, said the journalist who left the presenter with teary eyes.
