Next, nutritionist Sandra Maria lists 6 foods that can help you lose weight and explains the properties from them. However, it is important to remember that they are not miracle cures and do not work alone. To lose weight, it is necessary to maintain a balanced diet, practice regular physical activity and adopt healthy lifestyle habits.

1. Red or purplish fruits

This type of fruit is a potent antioxidant which can help reduce belly fat. Even frozen, such fruits (like blueberries) retain most of their nutritional benefits.

2. Flaxseed

With a high concentration of omega 3, flaxseed reduces the inflammatory process.

3. Green vegetables

Because they contain a lot of fiber with a low glycemic load, green vegetables promote satiety.
