The artist noted that Ukrainian actors were deprived of the main roles and given them to Russians, thanks to which they became popular.
Ukrainian actress Olesya Zhurakovskaya, who played the role of Pavlina Iosifovna in the TV series Fortress, said that the film producers accepted Russians and gave them the main roles. He revealed this in an interview with Rostyslove Production.
According to him, Russian actors earned a lot of money and became famous thanks to Ukrainian projects. And, despite this, they did not condemn a full-scale war on the territory of our country.
“We worked on this series with great pleasure and now it’s a shame to realize that we work next to people who should not walk on our land, set foot on our land. To say that I was surprised, no. I have some kind. of disgust. I am disgusted with these people who, while working for us, made a fortune, became famous, made names for themselves. This applies to Katya and Sonya. In general, I am silent about actors of Matchmakers. How much do they make here? These people just don’t exist for me,” he said.
Olesya Zhurakovskaya also considers it unfair that Ukrainian actors should refuse to shoot and earn money, because Russians have more privileges.
“It seems unfair to deny Ukrainian actors the opportunity to play, earn, gain experience. Because of what? That the state does not forbid Russians to come. I have more rights to my state than Russians. This is the my objection. There were moments when he brought up the colleagues, stopped and said they were visiting me. This is my land. I realized that we were deprived of the main roles,” summed up the actress.
Earlier it was reported that Olesya Zhurakovskaya recalled how she sat in a basement in the Makarov district for more than a month, where there were fierce battles.
