American actress, singer and model Hayden Panettiere has reconciled with ex-boyfriend Brian Hickerson, who was arrested on charges of domestic violence. The New York Times reported it.
The ex-lover of Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko has admitted that he still has feelings for her. At the same time, the celebrity said that he did not approve of his former lover’s behavior.
“He knows he deserves what happened to him,” she said of her decision to get back with the 32-year-old.
According to the publication, Hickerson was at Panettiere’s apartment during the interview, and the 33-year-old Scream VI star admitted that they have become friends again. However, he noted that their relationship “depends on whether he continues this path of recovery.”
Additionally, Hayden Panettiere added that she was embarrassed about how people would perceive her decision.
It is noteworthy that in 2018, Brian Hickerson was arrested for beating Hayden. He spent 45 days in jail and received a four-year suspended sentence for domestic abuse of an actress. He also had to attend special courses where it was explained to the boys that violence and mistreatment would not lead to any good.
