The first Turkish electric car is ready for sale

The delivery of the first machines from the plant in Gemlik will start at the end of March. By the end of 2023, the manufacturer plans to sell around 20,000 electric cars.

The Togg electric crossover, launched in Turkey at the end of 2022 and dubbed the “Erdoganomobile”, is ready for sale. This was reported by Ukraine on the tire.

It was noted that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan took an active part in the promotion of the first national electric car. In particular, he personally presented the prototype of the machine and tested its first serial copy.

The crossover is available in two versions. Rear-wheel drive with a 200-horsepower electric motor and 400-horsepower all-wheel drive. can accelerate to 100 km / h in 7.6 seconds. The twin-engine electric car will reach a speed of 10 km/h in 4.8 seconds.

Togg power reserve – from 300 to 500 km. In the future, they plan to give it a third-level autopilot.

Togg costs range from $43,000 to $54,000. After that, the manufacturer will work on an electric sedan.

Remember that in China they created a small copy of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 crossover.
