The brand uses red, blue and white colors, as well as the Latin letter V, which became a symbol of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
French fashion house Louis Vuitton has been caught in a publicity stunt for its new womenswear collection. In the promo video, Ukrainians saw the tacit support of the Russian Federation and the “DPR”.
In the video, a red-blue-white canvas with a black letter V unfolds on one of the walls of the hall, where there are antique sculptures.
And in one of the frames you can see the color combination of black, blue and red, which is depicted in the “DNR” flag.
“I’m Ukrainian and I don’t like this ad. “LV” would be better, but you chose the sign of war and psychopaths. Why? Are you really sick yourself?” – written by one of the users.
Louis Vuitton’s press service responded to the criticism and recalled that white, red and blue are also the colors of the French flag. And the Latin letter V, like the letter L, are brand symbols themselves.
