The main goal of the project is to attract the attention of customers to the possibility of personalizing the brand’s products.
BMW has teamed up with German tuning studio Vagabund Moto GmbH to create the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto electric scooter concept for surfers. The brand’s website reported this.
The scooter is based on the electric BMW CE 04, which begins production in 2022.
The body is painted white, beige, dark green and black. On the front wheel hub is an orange smiley face that acts as a turn signal.
In addition, the concept has more storage space – a functional top box in the rear seat.
Notably, the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto comes with an exclusive surfboard. It is designed in the same style as the concept. There is a special mount for transporting the board on a scooter.
The scooter is equipped with an electric motor, the same as the production model, which produces 41 hp. power and torque 62 Nm. Acceleration to 50 km / h is achieved in 2.6 seconds, and the maximum speed is 121 km / h.
On a single charge, the scooter can travel up to 130 km. At the same time, it charges up to 80% in 65 minutes when using high-speed charging.
Recall that earlier Harley-Davidson presented the first Serial1 electric bike.
