He will stay in Ukraine until February 19. The celebrity will raise funds to help the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The famous Irish actor Jack Gleason, who became famous for his role as Joffrey Baratheon in the cult TV series Game of Thrones, arrived in Kyiv. He will stay in Ukraine until February 19. This was announced by director Ekaterina Chepura on Facebook.
He already managed to take a photo with a star at the Arsenalnaya metro station.
Recently, Gleason said he would bring a pickup truck for APU.
“I was only in Ukraine for 12 hours. We arrived in Lvov, and then took a train to Kiev. Maybe I need a little more time to get a complete picture of the country, but in my heart I am glad that there is no snow. How can Ukraine be helped by other actors? You have to use your celebrity profile to draw attention to the war in Ukraine. I think it’s a great privilege to have such a gift,” the actor said.
It is known that on February 16, a public meeting is scheduled. It will be held at the Kiev Academic Theater for Young Spectators, and the proceeds from the event will be donated to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On this same day, another charity event will be held with the participation of Ukrainian and foreign actors who will perform one of the Game of Thrones scenes. The scene will be streamed online. All donations will also go towards the needs of our defenders.
