The showman admitted that he now regrets that he worked on several projects in Russia and led corporate parties there.
Ukrainian presenter Andrei Bednyakov admitted that he was involved in Russian projects. For example, in 2019 he returned to the Eagle and Tails travel program. He spoke about it in a press interview.
According to the showman, the main reason for the return is not money, because if he wants to earn money, then from 2014 he will agree to the channels of Russia and First, where he was called.
At the same time, Andrei Bednyakov added that for some time he dreamed of working on Russian channels, because his father told him from childhood about his connection with Russians.
“But I always dreamed of working there, because I happened to be from Mariupol and my father always proved to me that we have a Russian surname, relatives in Ivanovo. And I always answered him that I Ukrainian, I’m not from the Soviet Union. I know how he behaves now. Of course, I want to work on Russian channels. After all, we watched Russian movies at home, we have Russian channels. And this problem is that for decades, the region was dominated all those years before that,” he said.
In addition, the presenter noted that when Russia annexed Crimea in 2014 and the war in Donbass began, he was offered three projects, but he rejected all of them.
“I refused to go to Crimea, although they gave twice for a corporate party. They offered me 30 thousand euros, 35 thousand for the wedding. Once they offered 45 thousand euros for the New Year. That was in 2015-2016. I went. Although I only went twice, once in the Eagle and Tails program, and the first time was small. Having money and recognition, I did not go. For me, the Crimea is Ukraine, it is, is and will be,” summed up Bednyakov.
Earlier it was reported that Andrei Bednyakov shared an archival photo with fans and mocked the narratives of the Russians.
