The actor, together with his friends, will drive a pickup truck, meet with Ukrainian servicemen and take part in the auction in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The famous Irish actor Jack Gleason, known for his role as Joffrey Baratheon in the TV series Game of Thrones, will visit Ukraine for the first time. This was announced by Ukrainian director Katya Chepura on Facebook.
He mentioned that he was a fan of his talent and decided to write to him to invite him to Ukraine, where he received a positive response.
“Jack will stay in Ukraine for three or four days, and I really want to ask what kind of acting techniques he uses, how he works, on his own or following the director. It’s really very interesting, but I think he asked such questions many times, so I don’t know if I dare. It’s great that someone who has nothing to do with Ukraine decided to come here and support us, ” he wrote.
At the same time, Katya Chepura noted that Jack Gleason will not come empty-handed, but will bring a pickup truck for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“In the days when the hands are depressed, such people make us believe that we are not alone in the fight against Mordor and that Ukraine is worried about others except you and me,” the director summed up.
It was previously reported that French director, screenwriter and actor Michel Hazanavicius has arrived in Ukraine.
