Felipe Araújo owns several country hits and adds up to more than 3.5 million monthly listeners on digital platforms and, next Thursday, the 2nd, the singer will launch his newest musical project.
Esquenta Dois has seven unpublished songs and clips, among them the hit Until I Find Someone with participation of Mc Hariel. We give Maximum Digitalwe caught up with Felipe to find out more about his new project.
In addition to his new and future projects, the sertanejo opened his heart to talk about his affection for his fans and their importance in his career.
About the creation process of Esquenta Dois, Felipe told us: “All the songs were recorded on the same day, with a concept reminiscent of the bar, including the scenographic part.”
“This is the second version of this project, in 2018 I did Esquenta, which released the song I’m Still So Yours, and it was a success. And in this version, in the choice of songs and in the composition process, we thought about this proposal more aimed at the bar, people listening to it while drinking, something more sertanejo.”, explained.
The singer also spoke about his future projects after the release of Esquenta Dois and gave a spoiler about the second volume of this project: “During the year 2022, I teamed up with several composers until I reached 12 songs, so in this first moment we are going to release the other five songs, since in November of last year I released the first song of this volume”.
“And the second volume arrives in March, with another six songs that we recorded in Goiânia, on October 6th. We preferred to release this project in two parts so as not to miss any songs, nowadays things are very volatile, the songs go by much faster. So we did it this way so that the public could better assimilate each release.”, he told.
Felipe even gave us a little bit about the music Farewell to Sufferingwhich will be released tomorrow, and told a little more about his plans with the song: “I really believe in this song, people will enjoy it a lot because it tells the story of a person who is suffering because of a breakup, but decides to stop suffering and move on with life.
“The song says that the person is going to go out, drink, work on the street, kiss other people and there’s a part that says ‘maybe I’ll cry, but I’m going to cry kissing because today will be my farewell to suffering’”, continued.
The singer also spoke about his relationship with his fans and gave details of the meeting he had with them recently: “I give my fans a lot of voice, I listen a lot to what they have to say, they really like to give their opinion, idea, I have a lot of closeness with them.”
“These days I did a show in São José dos Campos, in São Paulo, and two fans came to talk to me and gave us a lot of ideas for us to achieve a lot together. My fans get into my projects as if they were me, they live my stuff, I’m very passionate about my fans because of that. I even set up a Zoom conversation with them to hear what they had to say.” said.
About the fan meeting, Felipe said: “It was a lot of dough! We organized everything, we did gymkhanas, chats, we talked a lot, I sang some songs that are going to come out now and the main songs of my career too, then I took pictures with everyone who was there, I liked it a lot”.
“It was the first time I held this meeting and I intend to do it many more times throughout Brazil, it is a very cool project and brings this proximity and often they have so many opinions to give that people who sometimes will never reach us on their own of the rush”, continued.
“Bringing this closeness is very valuable, they are there all the time, I really liked this idea because I really like hearing their stories and especially I love receiving the affection they have with me.”, finished.
