The final of the beauty contest will take place on Saturday, January 14th. 85 contestants are fighting for the victory.
On Wednesday, January 11, the international beauty contest Miss Universe 2022 began. Ukraine’s representative Victoria Apanasenko surprised the audience and judges with her appearance in the Warrior of Light costume. The moment of the exit of the participant was shown on the official Instagram page of the contest.
So, during the semi-finals, the participants went on stage in the evening, cocktail dresses, swimsuits, as well as national costumes.
The representative of Ukraine in a blue swimsuit took the stage. The main element of the outfit is a cape, on which a bird girl and the inscription BE BRAVE LIKE UKRAINE are drawn. She also paraded in a black evening dress with blue and yellow rhinestones on the neckline and a Ukrainian flag as a cape.
As for the national costume, Victoria Apanasenko came out in a white dress with puffy sleeves and overalls, symbolizing the armor. The costume is decorated with a headdress with corn ears traditional for Ukraine, mechanical wings on blue-gold armor and a sword in hands.
