Bedros said that Philip respected the previous authorities of Ukraine, and gave concerts with pleasure.
Russian pop singer Bedros Kirkorov admitted that his son Philip “regrets the loss of Ukraine.” He said this in an interview with one of the Russian media.
At the same time, the 90-year-old performer said that the Ukrainians once happily greeted him, while he assured that Kirkorov Jr. is a patriot of Russia.
“He is sad that he lost such a republic, where he toured with pleasure every time. He was recognized there, he is a People’s Artist of Ukraine. He respects the previous government, which gave him this opportunity and title,” he said.
Earlier it was reported that Philip Kirkorov reacted to the fact that Ukraine imposed sanctions against him and a number of Russian artists.
